We would like to invite you to email us at:

centerforhopetx@gmail.com with your testimony of how

Center For H.O.P.E.  has blessed you.

The ministry of Center For H.O.P.E. has made a tremedous difference in my daughter's life.  What your food pantry did for my daughter is beyond words that I can come up with in thanks.

She was completely down and nearly out.  She was about ready to be kicked out of her house, lose her car, her family and her mind.

Through those hard times, your church provided her with not only the necessary food she needed but also spiritual help through the CD's that you handed out and through your website.

November and December were extremely hard for her and my husband and I were powerless to help her, we didn't have it, but praise God, Center For H.O.P.E. cared enough to be there.

Thank you seems so inadequate, because you supplied when others either couldn't or wouldn't, but THANK YOU and God Bless you.

During this past winter my husband and I were blessed to become acquainted and work with Pastor Gail Prentice, his wife Regina and others at The Center For H.O.P.E. These folks do an outstanding job at Helping Other People Excel.
Their beliefs, purpose and goals are stated on the pages of this website and we saw that these folks put these things into action and take their mission seriously.
They are a small group now but they do big time Christian ministry. So many in the community depend on Pastor Gail for help and Pastor Gail always uses spiritual wisdom as he offers his assistance. We witnessed time and time again folks that weren't members of the church  thanking Pastor Prentice and others in the church for taking time to help them in someway.
The ministry of the Food Pantry, while we were there, was assisting many people. Several in the community signed up for food assistance for the first time due to the economy.
Often without warning, work hours were reduced and some jobs lost as businesses downsized or closed.
Operating a food pantry is a lot of work and requires the labor of several people. It was amazing to see folks who weren't members of this church volunteer to help unload trucks delivering the food, stocking shelves in the pantry and on the monthly major distribution day they'd come back to sack and carry food. Several of these volunteers weren't members of the church but had been assisted by this food pantry and wanted to help in return.
My husband and I are very comfortable in donating funds to this ministry as we saw first hand that it is used for funding ministry and is spent with wisdom. I encourage those who have the funds to donate as well.
Thank you, Center For H.O.P.E., for encouraging us in our Christian walk and in making us feel loved and appreciated during our winter in Texas.

God bless you all as you minister, your Illinois friends

Center For H.O.P.E Church has made an impact in my life that even I cannot describe.

I was so disappointed in what "church" had become, that I completely drew back into a shell and stayed home.  What I saw in all of the rest of the churches is what Pastor Prentice called, and rightly so, "churchianity".

But Center For H.O.P.E. is so much different. When they say I love you, they mean it.  When they give you a hug, they truly show that they love you.  When they say that they care, they prove it.

I was at a point that I had no friends, because I was never out of my house and seldom in a predicament that put me in the presence of many other people.  I had little to no faith in God, because I had nowhere to share and grow.

Though Center For H.O.P.E. Church is a small church, their heart is as big as a skyscraper.

Thank you Center For H.O.P.E. for being there as a friend, a brother and a sister when I needed it the most.

Your Lakehills Angel!

Your sermon January 10th really offended me.  You said at the start of the mesage that some were going to be offended and I really was.  In fact, I had made up my mind that I was not going to attend there any more.

Throughout the week, it seems like God just hammered me with thoughts of that message and how I was offended because I chose what was going to be the controling force in my life wrong.

When I had stopped long enough to think about what you really said and how I intrepreted it, I realized that I honestly chose poverty as my standard of living.

After spending some time in prayer, I felt impressed to call my old boss and appologized for the way that I had treated him.  He gave me my job back and forgave me.

I decided to choose prosperity and reject poverty.  What a difference Jesus has made in my life.

Thanks and God Bless the ministry here at Center For H.O.P.E.
